I happen to love Kwak, I find it's more understated out of the Belgian beers. I was looking for any information on what is the closest yeast to what Bosteel's uses? There's a lot of information out there on Trappist yeasts and I happen to own BLAM, but Kwak doesn't seem to attract much attention. I've found some clone recipes, but four different recipes recommend four different yeasts.

I used WLP530 and got a really good, really close version of Kwak.

Did you ever get an answer? What yeast did you end up going with?

You can harvest yeast from Karmeliet tripel. This is bottle conditioned, also from Bosteels brewery, and with a very high probability the same yeast. Dutch homebrewers achieved good results with this yeast.
