Partial Boil vs Full Boil

I've brewed most of my beers from True Brew kits. The instructions say to boil my ingredients in 1-11/2 gals. of water for 20 to 30 min.,then add to cold water. Most of my beers are ok to good, but not where i want to be. My question is would i be better off to cook ingredients, add to water,then bring
all five gal. to a boil.

Yes. Full boils are better than partial boils.

Just remember that your hops utilization will be different in a full boil. But if you can do it, you should yet a better result from a full boil.

This is one reason i am building a keggle! That way my brew kettle will be big enough for a full boil.:rockin:
