My regulator shot craps so I'm bottling a Kolsch for us and a wheat for a buddy who helped build my brewery.

I think everything is going great. SWMBO is filling and I'm capping. We're going along at a nice little clip when I notice the pan of priming sugar water sitting on the shelf. Ack.

Uncapped 8 bottles and poured them back into the bottling bucket (slowly without splashing) along with the priming sugar.

Back at bottling again, a little ticked off, and I absolutely crush a bottle. It shatters everywhere except for a tall dagger sticking up. I narrolwy missed slashing my arm all up, but did manage to get some shards in my feet (a little dumbassitis there, bottling barefoot)

Hit the expected FG though and the hydro sample was OK, so I'm hoping it's me and not Gambrinus.

Yup bottling sucks. I would have got some scratch together and bought a regulator before I bottled again!

Yep. Snagged a cheap one from Morebeer during their recent facebook sale. Used their cheapo shipping option though so 5 days later now it hasnt even been picked, much less shipped.
