I bottled the other night and not really thinking I just grabbed a hand full of oxygen absorbing caps and threw them in a bowl with some san star. The next day after the extras were dry I put them back in the bag.
My question is have I ruined the caps and should just toss them and buy some more? Or are they fine to use even though they were activated?

Thanks

The liner in the cap has most likely activated, but they will still work just fine for sealing the next batch of bottles. It is just the O2 scavenging feature of the cap that has been compromised.

I would still use them, just think of the caps as "normal" caps.

Cheers
