I made my first braggot and the lid of the 7 gallon brew bucket blew off, blew my fermentation chamber open and made a mess.

Should i be worried my beer has been contaminated from being open to air for 12 + hours with cats and dogs in the house?

Next batch I'll do a blowoff tube for sure

If it was fermenting vigorously during that time I would say you are probably fine. I have had the same thing happen where air locks get blown out of carboys on occasion and have had no noticeable effects. Don't worry just taste it after primary and see if it tastes good. You can't do any thing at this point anyway.
