So as I was going through some stuff in my basement I found some malt in a box that I had never opened or used from a few months ago. I just need some help figuring out what kind of beer I originally intended on making. I have some optic malt and some chocolate 120. Seems like some type of stout. I have 3 - 4 pounds of optic and 1 pound of chocolate.

What kind of beer can I use this grain with?

The hops I have left in the freezer wont go with the grain but it's a start to one of those leftover beer recipes.:mug:

With only optic and chocolate malts I think you have more of an english mild although I think you'll need another 2-3 pounds of base malt.

Are you sure the other grain is chocolate and not crystal? I've not heard of a chocolate malt with such a low lovibond.
