I homebrew beer for myself and make wine for my wife. I'm getting tired of all the bottles, so I want to start kegging.

Would it be possible for me to use 100% nitrogen to push the wine and sugar prime kegs of beer, and then hook them up to the nitrogen? Or, could I get a fancy regulator that would allow me to mix nitrogen and co2 for the beer and not have to bother with sugar priming?

Also, how much does nitrogen cost, how long does a tank last, and is industrial grade ok?

5 years ago was the last time I paid for N2, it was 2bucks per lb. It would need a N2 regulator, not the same as beer gas or co2. Nitrogen is pure, their are no grades. As far as how to push and carb this stuff, I have no idea, but good question. I wanted to make a keg of apple wine.
