Well I have a beer that has reached final gravity. I transferred it to a secondary on saturday and i just checked it out today. It looks like there is no yeast in the beer. Do i need to repitch or something? I'd really like to actually have this brew carbonate. Oh yeah, its WL 01 in a porter that has about 7% in it. My room is a bot cold too.

You'll be fine, millions of yeast stay in suspension in the beer even if you can't see them. Even lagers that are 34 degrees for months will carbonate just fine.

Do try to keep the bottles around 70 degrees for 3 weeks though.

There's yeast...everything's fine....

The point of the secondary, if you use them, is to help the beer clear..there's plenty of yeast in there...You will notice sediment in a few days. And don't be surprised if you even get a krausen developing if the yeast decide to hold a housewarming party.

:D
