Clogged airlock while at work. Wife sent me the photos along with a few choice expletives. I cleaned it up and replaced with a blowoff tube and fermentation continued pretty vigorously. Everything looks and smells good as a new sanitized airlock has replaces the tubing now that thing have settled a bit. I am not too concerned about infection but with a big blowoff like this I am worried about a longer fermentation time. If I start seeing high hydrometer readings should I shake or stir things up a bit or just RDWHAHB and let it do its thing? Any insights welcome.

Whaahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!

OMG it's so funny because it's not me. Bet you'll use a blowoff tube from now on.

Put in the blowoff tube and leave it alone. It's fine.

Yeah I brewed an Irish red with the same yeast(WLP004) albeit a bit lower gravity beer last night and there is definitely a blowoff tube in that bad boy now.

Nice! Good height. That ceiling got hit good!
I've been using a blow off since the great explosion of 2005!
