I brewed a milk stout yesterday, used a yeast starter. The beer was bubbling away when I went to bed and was still going when I left for work this morning...when I got home no activity in the airlock. Is this a potential problem?

You could do a gravity reading to be sure, but I've had English Ale yeast finish up very quickly for me in the past (as in, so fast I was worried I'd fermented too hot), and it turned out fine. Nonetheless, I'd still leave it for at least a full 2 weeks to clean up and mellow before doing anything with it.

There is very little krausen when I opened up the bucket, there is some. There is also activity happening it looks like a coke after the foam has settled and and little CO2 fizz bubbles are jumping up in the air. Maybe it'll kick off again.
