New To Me DD50

Good evening all. Excited to be a new member and an owner of a used BevAir Dd50. The unit has been running fine for several months and I just had the evaporator fan fail on me. I’m guessing it was ice build up that caused the blade to shatter and then subsequent have the evaporator fan cut off. The new still cools fine but after installing a new evaporator fan the fan will not cut on right away like it used to. Any suggestions?

Welcome aboard!
I built my kegerator from a fridge and my ferm chamber from a freezer, but haven't replaced any fans. If you don't get help here, you might ask in the DIY Kegerator section, or I can move this thread there for you. Good luck, keep us posted.
