Hey everyone, I am very new to home brew and just wanted to say hi.
I am planning on my first adventure to take place next weekend. Does anyone have advise on what my first brew should be or any tips/tricks? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the addiction. In terms of a first brew, many people start off with an American Pale Ale. A hard style to master but even harder to mess up a decent batch. APAs give a good introduction to hopping stages (early - bittering, mid - flavor, late - aroma), specialty grains (whether seeping in an extract batch or mashing in an all grain batch).

Make sure you know what the temperature of the area you'll be fermenting.

The search function is amazing. Any question you can think of can be found somewhere on the forums. A recipe suitable to your personal preferences can be found. An amazing wealth of information. Makes me kinda warm inside just thinking out it :mug:
