I am gonna try making this Brewers Best Oktoberfest, although I am going to use the lager yeast provided in the kit but ferment it as an ale, since the procedure states that it can be brewed as an ale. This is actually going to be my first attempt at brewing, maybe a bit ambitious I dunno.
-Any suggestions on temperatures and duration/time period to ferment?
-Also, I do not have a secondary fermenter. Should I purchase the carboy and secondary ferment, or forgo the secondary fermentation altogether?
