I am thinking about ordering a new recipe online(extract) and was thinking about ordering from Northern Brewer. Can anyone give advice if this is a good store to order from ? Or other stores that have good product? I was thinking about a pale ale or IPA. Thanks for advice.

Also has anyone had the Stone IPA? If so can you take labels off of the bottles or are they permanently on?

Thanks again!

Northern brewer puts together great kits as does Midwest Supplies and Austin homebrew

NB is great, but they no longer do their flat rate shipping fees. So if you do end up placing an order, I would go ahead and add any equipment or ingredients you've been planning on acquiring as the shipping fee won't change that much more.

Dawgmatic is right. If you order 1 thing, order many as the shipping rate does not increase much when you add additional items.

I have made kits from both NB and Midwest and both make great beer. The reason I use NB more is because of the grains. When I want to make an English style, I get English grains. American style, American grains, etc....

Just my reason, but you are pretty set with a kit from either place. I have never used Austin
