New brewer in Rockville, CT. Brewed up my first batch of Kolsch and looking to start another batch in a few weeks. And yes, the wife helps with the brewing too!

Nice Welcome... Kolsch is a mighty fine beer, just be sure to aerate well and pitch using a starter, unless using dry yeast. Also keep your fermentation temps in the low 60's unless the style dictates that. Glad to hear of another CT brewer here.

Welcome, I'm up the road from you in Tolland, Went to a homebrew class in the winter in Willimantic and had a great time ,made my 1st batch Porter- and now am about to bottle my Brown ale.Gonna do a wheat beer and flavor it for the July 4th Picnic.
