names tom I live in the suburbs of Chicago, just got into home brewing I have been interested in it for a while and just made the jump so I hope I can stick around and learn from everybody.

yeah I was up late last night reading all the different threads, right now I am just brewing from the kits to learn how to actually brew and what to look for and work with the different items once I get that down I will be looking forward to building and brewing an all grain setup.

thanks looks like a lot of people from the general area on here which is nice. This summer is gone be rough I just took out my smoker today going to be a lot of beer drinking and grilling/smoking this summer.
