I took a night homebrew course from Lewis Clark State College in April and have been hooked ever since. Dove in quick and now doing all grain. It went way past a hobby in May. There's something about coming home to a nice handcrafted beer on tap. :mug: First batch only lasted 3 weeks in the keg. Should have 3 kegs for our local Homebrew clubs Oktoberfest in the Park in October.

Welcome,

Easturn Washington would be be a great place to be about now or at least during the hop harvest

"night homebrew course from Lewis Clark State College" sounds interesting do you know if they offer a on line class ?

Fortunately no, as disappointing as that may sound. It was a hands on course in a local brew club members garage with the assistant being the brewmaster from the local microbrewery. 5 Wednesday nights. We made 2 5 gallon batches a night and free to sample his 7 homebrews on tap, and sample we did. Our course teachers are now opening up River Port Brewing Riverport Brewing Company LLC Microbrewery this weekend.

Welcome to the forum. I'm in the colder and more rainy part of the state.
