Hey All,

I've been lurking for some time now and figure it's time to say hello.

I hail from the Bay Area of California and I've been brewing for about a year now (although not as many batches as I'd like.) I caught the bug as a teenager when I would help my Father brew back in the early 90s. I'm doing it for myself now and I'm finding it to be somewhat of an obsession.

I've long been a connoisseur of ales, Having attended Chico State University (home to one of the finest Pale Ales in all the land) and having lived in London (the Motherland.) Heck, as soon as I was old enough I was bar-backing at the Legendary Lyon's Brewery Depot in the Bay Area. I learned quite a bit about good beer from Judy Ashworth there.

I hope to pick your brains and gather useful knowledge (maybe contribute some of my own.)

Right now I'm only extract brewing, but I hope to move to AG in the not too distant future.

Cheers
