Can anyone tell me if if there is a 240v 5500w ULWD rippleripple e that will fit a kettle with an inside diameter of 13.6 in? I've been searching for some time now, but can't seem to find one. Thanks.
Forgot to say, 240V, 5500I have a kettle that's 13 5/8" in diameter and a Camco ripple element. Built a while ago, before all this newfangled brew-specific equipment was available.
Not sure about that, as it looks to be lower profile than the TC ferrule on my BK, which appears to be just under 1" from the edge of the kettle to the lip of the TC flange. If you can silver solder or find someone to weld this on to your kettle, you should be good.Would something like this work as opposed to welding?

Wonder if I could use this in place of the 1.7 OAL extension you indicated?

Yes, it's meant to be a bulkhead, but there's no reason it shouldn't work as long as it's sealed between the two halves. I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask them what the length is.
You've not run into any issues with the element touching the TC bulkhead? If only there was one shorter by .5 inches...or even .25 inches.
