New to brewing. Bought a Brewsy kit months ago. Still haven't tried it. Found a bunch of old bottles from a dump site. Wondering if I can use them.
New brewer. Interested in ciders or sours.

Are they pry-cap type beer bottles, i.e. not twisties? If so, and if they not broken, they should be usable. Many people who bottle their beers reuse commercial beer bottles. You'll need to clean them thoroughly and sanitize before use, but that's true of any bottle.
But for me personally, the idea of garbage dump bottles would have enough of an Ewww Factor that I'd pass.
