New brewer from Portland, OR

Hello all, got my setup from the wife at Christmas. She didn't know what to get me so I ended up with a MrBeer kit and a Gold Complete Beer Equipment Kit (K6) with 6 Gallon Glass Carboy. I made a batch of Belgium Ale in the MrBeer the day after Christmas and am getting ready to bottle it tomorrow. I brewed a batch of Blonde Ale yesterday and have it going in the Carboy.

All I have to say is this site rocks!!!!!

Enjoy! We are lucky out here in OR, cheap grain, cheap hops, cheap everything for when/if you ever step away from Mr Beer kits.

I'll use the MrBeer for a while but am using the K6 Kit at the same time. I made the blond ale with dry malt extract, crystal malt, hops...etc. It was fun making it from almost scratch. I have it in the Carboy fermenting now.
