Finally made the leap to all grain, spent about 5 hours after work Friday night making my brew tree. Finally finished it at 1:30am
tested it out today making a raspberry ale for my wife, had one of my thermometers crap out causing me to be short on my mash in temp, but just added more hot water till I hit temps. Other than that little oops went rather smoothly, due LARGELY to all the great information on this forum.
Was actually a nice day here in Washington too (no rain, only partly cloudy), I enjoyed a Belgian Quad I had brewed about 6 months ago and my wife enjoyed her Rhubarb Heffeweizen.
Even had my little brewers assistant reading up on his brewing techniques.
