Grain:
8.5 lb. Belgian pale
.5 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
5 lb. Flaked wheat

2 lb. blue berry pie filling
.5 lb. Brown sugar

1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)

wyeast 1214

6lbs blueberries in secondary fermenter

My question is that the 5lb of Flaked wheat seems high. Do you guys think they meant .5 flaked wheat?

You can use either amount. 5 lbs seems a lot of flaked wheat to me. But 0.5 lb won't get you anywhere close to 1.090. I'd sub wheat malt if I were you.
