I just did a starter for my first BIAB and it doesn't look like it took off. It's wyeast greenbelt with a date of may 7th 2012.

I started this Wednesday in hopes of brewing this afternoon but my starter doesn't look so hot. I have some back up US 05 so I can use that in a pinch.

I also used my new stir plate for this.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

It looks perfectly fine, there is no reason you can't brew and pitch it when ready. You are starting to see the wort clear at the top and the yeast settle towards the bottm. Obviously you do not have time to crash and decant so just swirl it up and pitch it in :rockin:

Alright duboman, but if this batch is trashed, oh am I gonna rip on ya.....:D

No worries! Even in your picture I can see a krausen ring just above the wort showing that the starter fermented:D-right back at ya!
