So I just brewed a RIS with double black whiskey and hazelnut coffee beans. It's in bottles, and will remain untasted until September.

But my next experiment is a Nut Brown Ale. I am kinda stumped on what to add here, maybe caramel, or mint? I don't know, any ideas?

Thanks!

I did make a mint chocolate stout from this recipe https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/andes-mint-chocolate-stout-207277/

I learned a long time ago, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all, except for when someone is going to put mint in a beer.
My wife liked it but she was the only one.. and she is pregnant now... so I ended up bottling what was left in the keg just to free up the keg before November.

DONT DO THE MINT.

I have had a chocolate peanutbutter porter, that did come out good. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/duclaw-sweet-baby-jesus/196264/

Yeah, I'm not looking to impregnate anybody right now lol. The only thing is I have a kit for a Nut Brown Ale, so that is why I'm looking for ideas to change it up. We brewed one last year and it was ehhh. Thanks for the recipes though.

I did a extract Brown ale from northern brewer, and dry hoped it with citra and simcoe. 1 oz citra 0.5 simcoe
