I'm sure the kit will make a tasty beer, but it is pretty different from the AG recipe. There is certainly more than 1 way to make a tasty beer though, so it is completely up to you.

The kit is mostly pilsner with some biscuit and honey malts, but the AG is all 2row and wheat with a bit of crystal/caramel. If you want to convert the AG recipe more directly, 2row is the base of light or pilsner LME . Wheat DME can be subbed for wheat. The crystal 60 would just be steeped. You can plug it into a calculator to tweak, but that would be somewhere around 5 lbs pilsner LME + 2 lbs wheat DME + 1lb crystal 60.

The hop profile is significantly different too, so follow the AG hops if you are going for that flavor.

Thanks,
I've found the original recipe which was from DME so I might gonna try it as it is.
