Old Bust Head Brewing Company is celebrating our first National Homebrew Day by hosting a brew event at our brewery in Vint Hill, VA on Saturday, May 3rd. Homebrewers and local brew clubs are invited to bring their brewing equipment and supplies to brew a batch of their favorite end of spring beer along with the OBH team and other area homebrewers. We will be starting at 8:00AM and will have water and electricity available as well as a place to dump spent grain. Extra water hoses, hose Y connectors, extension cords, and power strips will be needed so bring them if you got them.
We will be open to the public for our Gold Cup Pre-Party from 10:00
until 2:00 the same day for customers to enjoy the brewery's pints, growlers fills, and good ol' fashion OBH fun. We hope to share the homebrewing experience with our guest so they can observe and learn more about the homebrewing hobby. Expect to have an informal audience who will be eager to ask questions and learn more about the brewing process. We plan to rope off a dedicated area for homebrewers so that they can safely work without being overcrowded.
