My first brew didn't exactly go as planned...

It all looked so peaceful when I put it in the primary..

I wake up to this..

Being my first beer, I pretty much freaked out and got all pissed because I thought the beer was ruined. Actually, turned out to be a damn good IPA.

of course it did maybe it's time to look into setting up a blow-off tube

Tell me about it. I found out what a blow-off tube was....after this happened. I remember going through the instruction book of the kit saying "Where the hell does it tell me what to do if my yeast decides to freak out?!"
