I have a 50A 240V Circuit on one side of my garage that I use for my Electric Brewery.
I need to move it about 20-25ft onto the other side of the garage.
I already have the 50A GFI Breaker in the main panel which then feeds this circuit.
My question is can I use this Air Conditioner Disconnect as a splice point to then put a new length of wire in to get the outlet where I need it?
I'm trying to save some money on wire. But want to make sure its 100% safe.
At over $2.25 a ft for the 6/3 with ground I would have to step up to about 50ft if ran new and cost another $65. but if this is what I need to do then it is what it is. Thanks

That disconnect will work fine, you will just need something to splice the neutral if you have a four wire setup. a large wire nut would be adequate.
