Was giving some serious thought to building a Mother of a Fermenter, during my research it came to me all we are really doing is building a old time Ice Box. If you look at the design of them you will see most put the ice section at the top of the box. This made it possible to use physics, fluid dynamics, to move the air around the chamber. I.e cold air sinks hot air rises.
Having said that has anyone built an ice fermenter with the ice compartment on top? If so does it work any better? Is it necessary to even use a fan? Is there any draw backs to building it this way?
