Middle East / ZERO alcohol beers....

Fellas,

Back in the Magic Kingdom and wanted to try a BEER ferment.

The idea is to take the local ZERO cans and then ferment them to HIGH alcohol level... then when its finished, put it in an Igloo cooler with frozen water bottles
and add in the NEW cans to give it some fizz. So I need to ferment to a higher level so I can dilute down...

I've tried just adding my usual sugar and lemon juice and tomato paste... just did not BUBBLE............

Thought maybe there was preservative in the cans of beer???

Any ideas / help EXPERTS????

Not sure exactly what you're trying to do? Ferment the sugar wash then add it to n/a beer, or add the n/a beer during the fermentation?
Foreigners in KSA have been doing similar things forever.
N/a beer in the middle east could very well have preservatives to prevent fermentation. Doubt that they have much left to ferment to "HIGH" alcohol level. I'd just do an alcohol ferment, concentrate it if needed, then add it in the glass to n/a beer. Worst case scenario/other option, finish the alcohol ferment, then add the n/a beer, and bottle with more yeast and hope you can have fermentation in the bottle with yeast and priming sugar. Bubbling in the fermentor doesn't mean fermentation isn't happening.
Better option would be to find a source for barley, whether feed or for human consumption, and try to do a ferment with it in some shape or form to make beer with alcohol...

Palcohol??? Black market PGA to mix in with the N/A Beer.... Do a hard cider with apple juice.... 30 gallon trash can wine.... Have a buddy send you 25lbs of DME, hops injector and some US-05... Not sure where you are but I've spent 12 years in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan... Where there's a will..... there's a way! If you're in SA... practice Abstention.... or just drink the NA stuff and pretend it's real!
