Second post of the day!
I was wondering does anyone has any equipment that takes readings of a brew in process? I was thinking of making a demijohn take readings from the liquid to ensure all the variables are maintained (like temparature and fermentation rate) or monitored (like pH). The equipment could even export out the readings wirelessly to be viewed as charts of time so you can see when exactly would be optimal to degas or if you need to wrap a towel around it to prevent cold from killing the yeast.
Has anyone else here done similar things or bought similar equipment that does the job and have you found it to be a very useful tool or something that is just nice but not really necessary?
Thanks guys!
