I started my mead 12 days ago its the first time ive ever done any kind of home brewing. It stopped fermenting and i broke my airlock can i drink the mead now or should i just add more yeast? It smells like straight alcohol but i dont know if thats good

Give it a taste and see what you think. If it smells like alcohol thats a good sign!

you need to let meads set.. i have one thats been in carboy for over 2 yrs.. this isnt like brewing beer. Mead is wine..

what was your recipe by the way.. ?
