My pops is growing a ton of this blood red corn, it has a deep bloody color and a great taste. I immediately created a beer in my head to utilize this corn.
Question...
Once i get the cobs, do they have to be dried? I was thinking of taking the corn, grinding it up a bit, and doing a step mash with a protein rest.
Is there anything else that would need to be done to the corn to get it ready for the mash?
