So I was trying to have my mash at 150-151°. Heated up my water and grain mixture and ended at 149°. Fast forward an hour when I am going to Sparge and the temperature of the mash is 154°. Has anybody seen this happen? Does anybody know why this happens? Am I doomed? And yes I know RDWHAHB

No doom. I usually mash at about 154°F. Your beer may turn out somewhat maltier than you wanted.

More importantly: Assuming you did nothing to add heat after your 149°F reading, this experience shows that, in the future, you will need to mix more aggressively to get a more accurate temperature reading. And a more nearly uniform initial temperature in your mash.

Cheers!
