I bought a march 809 not knowing that it is a center outlet instead of the inline. Could I just buy an inline head separately and change out the center outlet or are the pumps actually different?

I might be mistaken but usually the center port is the inlet, don't know if that changes anything for you.

As Matt said, the center is the inlet. Just add an elbow to the front if you need it to point a different direction.

But to answer your question, yes, you can buy the replacement head and swap it.

what is the main difference between the center outlet and the inline? i've heard that the center produces more thrust than the inline. is this true?
