Would someone have a Mangrove Jack's (dry yeast) equivalence table?

I've just found the ones listed bellow... Could someone help me filling in the table? :)

The objective is to build a equivalence sheet for Danstar, Fermentis, WYeast, WLabs, and MJ.

I will share it here when finished!!!

Mangrove / White Labs / Wyeast
M03
M07
M15
M20 / WLP380 - Hefeweizen IV Ale / 3333 GermanWheat Yeast
M21
M29
M31
M36
M41
M42 / WLP007 - Dry English Ale / 1098 Whitbread - dry
M44 / WLP001 - California Ale / 1056 American Ale Yeast
M47
M54
M76
M84 / WLP830 - German Lager / 2124 Bohemian Lager Yeast

Mangrove / White Labs / Wyeast
M03 - Now EM15 empire
M07 - Now Called M42
M15 - formerly M03
M20 / WLP380 - Hefeweizen IV Ale / 3333 GermanWheat Yeast
M21 - WLP400 or 410 I think?
M29 - closest to WY3711
M31 -
M36 - formerly the Burton Union Strain (M79)
M41 - Formerly M27
M42 / WLP007 - Dry English Ale / 1098 Whitbread - dry
M44 / WLP001 - California Ale / 1056 American Ale Yeast
M47 - Extremely close to WLP530 or WY3787
M54 -
M76
M84 - Probably Closer to W34/70

hi @crusader1612 thanks for your answer!!!

I've observed (as you) that some MJ yeasts were renamed/rebranded...

M03 -> M15
M79 -> M36
M27 -> M41

Rewriting the table, we still have some missing correlations (if any):

M15(M03) - ???
M20 / WLP380 - Hefeweizen IV Ale / 3333 GermanWheat Yeast
M21 - WLP400 or 410 I think?
M29 - closest to WY3711
M31 - ???
M36(M79) - Wyeast 1275 Thames Valley or White Labs WLP023.
M41(M27) - ???
M42(M07) / WLP007 - Dry English Ale / 1098 Whitbread - dry
M44 / WLP001 - California Ale / 1056 American Ale Yeast / Wyeast 1764 Pacman Yeast from Rogue.
M47 - Extremely close to WLP530 or WY3787
M54 - ???
M76 - ???
M84 - Probably Closer to W34/70

Thanks for posting this. I have recently tried dry Belgian yeast (Safbrew Abbaye) that I liked. WLP530/WY3787 is one of my favorite yeasts, I welcome a dry substitute.

thanks also. i love safeale 02 but hate the low attenuation. the dry whitbread strain is a nicer alternative and it's nice to see there is a cheaper dry yeast version.

Did this effort get carried on somewhere else, or just fizzle out?
M54 is the San Francisco Lager yeast, equivalent to WLP810/WY2112
I think M27 was equivalent to WY3711 (not sure what the WL equivalent is). Haven't used M41 yet to verify if it's the same yeast.

homebrewing.org has M31 listed as a substitution for 530/3787 and M47 as a sub for 1762/540. Has anyone used M31 or M41 and also used 3787 that can offer a comparison?

Indeed it is. A much more vigorous discussion of the whole subject has been carried on in this thread:

Still very much a work-in-progress. It's surprising to me how difficult this has been.

D.M. Taylor, a regular contributor here and an accomplished brewer, has published a yeast comparison chart that compares commercially available strains both liquid and dry. Check out his chart here:

It is great stuff.
