Hey everyone,
I'm a one gallon brewer, and currently use dry yeast for my batches. This is based on cost because I brew about once a week, live over an hour from the nearest hbs. I would like to try some liquid yeast but dumping $8 of yeast is expensive. Therefore, I want to start washing yeast....but with only a gallon batch, what would be the best way to wake the yeast up (after it's washed & stored)?
Most people end up with fairly large starters meant for 5 gallon batches.
Thanks!
