After work yesterday, I couldn't wait to get home & try a nut brown & stout that have been kegged for a few weeks. Finally, 4 tappers all working at once!! Opened up my keezer to check before firing up the fans(luckily) & heard a dripping sound. WTF! The keg with the stout had been leaking around the beer post & drained about half the keg into the keezer. After an hour or so of cleaning, I found out the o-ring on the dip tube was torn. It didn't leak the first couple days but apparently being cold over time & under pressure, it started leaking. What a drag! I guess I need to be more diligent when checking for leaks. Live & learn. At least I saved a handful of pints! Brewing right now to redeem myself! :drunk::eek:
