magnum hops for bittering?

So I have an abundance of magnum hop pellets, a lb of 2013 and a lb of 2014. All of which are sealed and in the freezer. I am looking at "yooper's house pale ale" and bell's two hearted. These call for either all cascade or all Centennial. How about replacing the 60 minute hops in both with the magnum, taking into account the ibus of course. Maybe even doing a forward hop addition?

Magnum is one of the top bittering hops. No need to waste expensive aroma hops for bittering.
