Lost bung

Hey guys, I have water on to boil and was sanitizing everything to get ready to brew and realized as I was inventorying, I don't have my bung for airlock... I have the airlock but no bung. Not sure where I misplaced it to. Anyways, should I keep on and pick one up at the store tomorrow, or scrap the brew for the night and brew tomorrow. I haven't used any ingredients yet other than bringing the water all to a boil...

fermenting in a carboy?

Just put a piece of sanitized tinfoil loosely over the opening until you get/find a bung. You could also just leave the tinfoil on there the whole time. No nasties are going to get in. It will be fine.

Can you use a blow off tube without the bung?

Thanks for the quick response Beninan. Thats what I was planning on doing, but wanted to get some confirmation. I swear I had a second one laying around.... musta grown legs...
