Haven't been able to find one that has gotten rave reviews. I'm pretty new so partial or extract please. Looking for imperial ish. 6+ ABV. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

6.6 lbs Extra Pale LME
1lb extra Pale DME
Steep
.5lb Crystal 80
4oz Roast Barley

Bitter to 30 IBUs w/ Fuggles at 60mins
add 1oz Fuggles at 10mins

Ferment with s04 or ideally, liquid Irish Ale yeast

Hoppy but not bitter. Almost all of the IBUs come from late hopping, which leads to smooth, less sharp bitterness and tons of hop flavor.

My understanding is that Jamil made the recipe after tasting an alesmith seasonal, Evil dead red, that he enjoyed.

I haven't tried any the heretic beers yet, but I'd imagine he kept it really similar. Its really excellent beer.
