Hi all, I've been brewing beer, and tried a strawberry melomel, but that's got to age at least another 6 months. :)

What I'm looking for is a quick mead recipe. I'd like to put together a joe's ancient strawberry mead. Has anyone run across one?

Also, strawberry and vanilla sounds great, any suggestions for what else to add to strawberry?

Strawberry Banana Mead was awesome.

Here's one a friend of mine did that was just great:

12 or 14 lbs costco clover honey
18 lbs frozen costco strawberriez in primary
6 lbs chopped banannannnas in primary
Add water to 6-6.5 gallonz
Fermaid K in primary - 1 gram per gallon so 6-7 grams or so
Used bentonite in primary to help clear it out.

1 lb fresh unforzen strawberries in secondary.
D-47 yeast.

Rack off strawberries in 2ndary onto 2 lbs honey in tertiary.
Leave 6 months.
Bottle every last drop.

Yeah I've seen that recipe out there. Looks great.

What I'm looking for is the strawberry equivelent to JOAM. Anyone got one?
