I’ve been reading about yeast rafts so I am hoping that’s what these are but I am posting a picture here to get the experienced eyes on it.

This is after a week a fermentation.

All thoughts welcome.

Congealed break material with yeast. No worries.
Are you using Whirlfloc or Irish Moss near the end of the boil? That tends to help leave the break material in the kettle...

Oh that’s wonderful to hear. I did use a whirlflock at the last 10 of the boil. It might have been about 6-8 months old though. Do those get less effective with time?
