lets hear some thoughts on using a wide belly keg!

Im currently piecing together my single tier brew stand. I already have 3 kegs. One which is a New Castle keg with the wide center. I planned on using it for my HLT. Does anyone use this style keg for there systems? If so, what do you think about them? Has anyone added a sightglass to them with out issues with the wider belly?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I may try to source a AB style keg if I get poor news.

I'm not a huge fan of them but I have custom versions of my sight glasses that will accommodate the bulge.

I use mine as a fermenter.

I do my 10 gallon BIAB batches in a Coors keg. No issues here, and it looks very blingy!
