I recently started using a boil pot with with a spigot set just slightly above the bottom of the pot and it has a stainless steel high temp hose covering acting as a filtering device. This left a lot of my hops in the pot after the boil and they did not make it into the fermentor. Will this hurt the flavor of my beer?

The only time I ever put hops into my fermentor is when I'm dry hopping. There's no need for all that extra sludge and trub to be in your fermentor.

Nope all the flavor juice as already been spent. This is actaully version of the usual question we get on here that asks if ADDING the spent hops from the kettle to the fermenter will affect the flavor...The answer is it won't matter either way.
