Brewed an all grain KBS clone last week with chocolate and cocoa in the boil. It’s been about 4 days in primary and the krausen looks a little different to me. Anyone done an RIS and seen krausen like this?

It tastes great and finished out to the expected FG already...
 
See my got a hydrometer thread, looks same as yours. I have brewed this a few times and it still looks weird. Check out the layer floating with the chocolate on mine. As a side note this is the first time I hopped it as aggressively as recipe calls for, not sure I like that. It seems to detract from chocolate and coffee. Found pic. First ever reading for me so cant comment on that, but mine finished well. How did yours attenuate, hope thats the right word

Thanks! Mine attenuated down to 1.020 which was right about on target. I have a newer system, so I messed up and sparged a little too fast. My OG was 1.070 instead of 1.089. No complaints though. More of a Russian Proletariat Stout as opposed to a RIS...
 
Probably some fat or weirdness from the chocolate. No big deal I assume
