The first was an American Ale from morebeer.

The carbonation was good, head was good, color was good. The taste however was good right up until after the swallow.

It has a slight soapy aftertaste of sorts.

The second beer was a Dunkelweizen and it's fine as of the last "uncarbonated" bottle we tested. Tonight we will drop one in the fridge
and see how it is.

We bottled for 3 weeks to carb/condition so far.

How long did you leave the beer in the primary (the soapy one)?

All my beers typically stay in for 14 days exactly... then if tested fine they get bottled but if they are still high I let them sit for a couple more days. Althought this time around I didn't pay attention to the temperature as good as I should.

Is it possible the slightly warmer temperatures are the cause?

From now on it's frozen soda bottles of water in the surrounding water bath.
