No, that's not going to be useful. Both sides are 1/4" NPT threads which won't fit any tank out there without more parts.

You should buy a CO2 pressure regulator that will fit an actual CO2 tank that you can have refilled or exchanged. These typically have CGA-320 valves, so you need a regulator that fits that type. You can also use paint ball cylinders but unless you're simply dabbling at kegging I wouldn't waste the money as inevitably you'd upgrade to a "real" cylinder...
