Inspired by Yooper's DFH60min clone, this is my recipe (not a DFH60min clone).

Batch Size = 5 Gallons

2L Starter with White Labs 001
8lbs Light Malt extract liq
4.5lbs Light Dry Malt extract
2lbs Crystal 40L
2oz Warrior Hops
3oz Amarillo Hops
2oz Simcoe Hops

90 Minute boil with 2oz of Warrior
80 Minute boil with 1.5oz of Simcoe
15 Minute boil with .5oz of Amarillo
5 Minute boil with .5oz of Amarillo

OG = 1.092
FG = 1.020

It's been in the primary for 14 days and is ready to be transfered into the secondary for clearing and dry hopping with the remaining 2.5oz of hops.

I took a taste test today and the brew tastes like a really good IPA. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Lets see some stats on this. After 55 minutes the extra amount of bitterness that can be extracted is greatly reduced. With 55 minutes as a plato time I wonder what that extra time will do to the flavor. Will it get harsh?
